Certification Framework & Applicable Standards

Certification Framework & Standards The ELSRA certification system operates strictly in accordance with international standard ISO/IEC 17024 (Conformity assessment — General requirements for bodies operating certification of persons). We are dedicated to ensuring that every certified professional or institution possesses the rigorous theoretical knowledge and practical expertise required by the industry.

  • Scope of Certification: Professional competencies including Scientific Research Analysis, Laboratory Standards, Evaluation Compliance, and Global Technical Assessment.

Certification & Audit Process To maintain the highest level of credibility, ELSRA implements a standardized 4-step evaluation process for all applicants:

  1. Initial Eligibility Review: Verification of educational background, professional credentials, and minimum industry experience requirements.

  2. Independent Examination: Candidates must pass a comprehensive proctored examination with a minimum passing score of 70%.

  3. Peer Review & Audit: Application portfolios and exam results are audited by at least two independent, senior evaluators with over 5 years of field experience.

  4. Registry & Certification: Upon final approval by the Certification Committee, a unique, encrypted certification number is generated and logged into this verification registry.

Certificate Status Definitions To verify the standing of a credential, please refer to the status indicated in your search results:

  • 🟢 Active: The certificate is fully valid. The holder meets all current compliance and ongoing education requirements.

  • 🟡 Suspended: The certificate is temporarily invalidated, usually due to a pending annual review or missing Continuing Education Units (CEUs). The holder is granted a grace period to rectify the status.

  • 🔴 Revoked: The certificate has been permanently cancelled due to professional misconduct, submission of falsified documents, or failure to rectify a suspension.

  • ⚫ Expired: The certificate has passed its expiration date and the holder has not applied for recertification.

Validity & Recertification: ELSRA certifications are typically valid for a period of 3 years. To maintain an “Active” status, certificate holders must submit proof of required ongoing compliance and apply for renewal at least 60 days prior to the expiration date.

Appeals & Complaints Procedure ELSRA provides a transparent mechanism to dispute certification decisions or report ethical violations:

  • Appeals: Applicants who wish to contest an examination result or a certification denial must submit a formal Certification Appeal Form within 30 business days of the decision.

  • Complaints: Stakeholders may file a formal complaint regarding the professional conduct of any ELSRA certificate holder.

  • How to Submit: Please download the official form from our resource center and email the completed documentation to our Compliance Committee at info@elsra.org. All cases are acknowledged within 5 business days and resolved within 30 business days.

Registry Registry & Revocation List To safeguard the integrity of our credentials, ELSRA maintains a public registry of suspended or revoked certificates. Misuse or unauthorized alteration of ELSRA credentials will result in immediate revocation and potential legal action.
